RESEARCH PROJECTS

The Ethics of Integral Leaders

Benefits for Business:

•  Improve selection criteria, evaluation and training for leaders;

•  Develop ethical aspirations and abilities among leaders;

•  Offer new practices for leadership development.

This research is the flagship project of the Chair. It consists of defining the common traits and actions among 100 leaders considered to have been the most ethical and integral in history; it also consists of documenting the maturation process of the consciousness of these leaders, none of whom were born with all of their abilities. We have begun this project with the study of leaders such as Nelson Mandela, the Dalaï-lama, Mother Teresa, Eleanor Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, Mohandas Gandhi, Rachel Carson and Bill George, among others.

We will publish a Leadergraphy on each leader — short and jargon-free books for existing leaders, leaders wishing to grow both personnally and professionally, and for those working with them.
This research has the potential to expand our current concept of leadership and to change how we choose, evaluate and encourage the development of leaders.
